KY State Championship Gaited classes 59-74

Entry Fee: $20

Premium with 6 or more entries:  $40/award, $30, $20, $10, ribbon, ribbon. 

Championship Classes 75, 76 and 77:

Entry Fee: $25

Premium $200 per class

Payback: $80, $60, $40 and $20, ribbon, ribbon.

Premium vouchers must be submitted to show office immediately.  Failure to submit premium vouchers within 1 hour following conclusion of show will result in forfeiture of premiums.

No gaited training devices allowed on grounds.

 

 

 

 

All gaited lite shod classes are  flatshod ¾” x 3/8” maximum

All other gaited classes are flatshod,  1/2” X 1 ½” maximum.

No cavessons i n gaited western classes.

All gaited western classes ridden with 1 hand unless riding a 4 and under mule with a snaffle bit.

Maximum bit length in any class is 9 ½”

NASMA rules apply.

Miniature donkeys must be registered with NMDA.

 Mules and standard/mammoth donkeys do not need to be registered to show (exception: mules in amateur classes.)

Amateur exhibitors must present NASMA amateur card  at entry.

 

Junior mules must present veterinarian mouthing certificates or copy of registration papers.

 

Youth-18 years and under as of 1/1/08

Negative coggins and health certificates for all entries.

NMDA measuring: Friday evening 5:00 p.m. - 8:00p.m.

Saturday morning 7:30 a.m.-9:00 a.m.

Registration for NMDA -Pre-enter by 7/22 or enter

Friday August 1 from 5:00 p.m.-9:00 p.m. on grounds.

Entries close at 9:00 p.m. FRIDAY for all NMDA classes

NMDA rules apply in all miniature donkey classes.

Class entry for mules and standard/mammoth donkeys:

Friday afternoon 4:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.

  Saturday morning 7:30 a.m.- 11:00 a.m.

Entries can be made up to 5 classes in advance providing the entry booth is still open.

Entries for Saturday evening session: 4:00 -7:00 p.m. 

Entry booth will close promptly at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday or 1 hour after the gaited show starts.

No refunds.

Judges decisions’ FINAL.
